Melodies and “Marches” are a very particular repertoire in Brittany.

Thanks to their slow tempo, they allow beginners to attend this course and experienced ones will let go their technique and interpretation.

This course is intended for all harpists, just pick your own pace!

Objectives

  • Master the repertoire of “Marches” and Melodies
  • Learn to place rests and alternations of rhythm
  • Know how to play simple and complex accompaniments on the same melody
  • Be able to play and sing at the same time

Prerequisites

  • Play with a Celtic Harp
  • Listen to harpists or traditional singers
